Park Air M7 VHF/UHF Radio

The Park Air M7 VHF/UHF range of software defined radios is designed for defence forces, fulfilling a comprehensive range of demanding communication needs in fixed, maritime, and deployable applications.

The software defined architecture of the M7 Radio provides voice, data, secure speech, and electronic protection measures (EPM) to facilitate your troops on mission.

Flexible Operations

The modular construction of the M7 radio allows configuration to your operational needs. Depending on the fitted hardware a basic radio can be a Receiver or Transceiver. Additional hardware modules can be fitted to add a control head, guard receiver and NATO standard or non-NATO EPM functions. A custom interface slot is also available for mission specific hardware.

The RF performance of the M7 radio allows suitability for collocated or split site operations. Configuration can also be executed for split site operations with EPM waveforms.

Features and Benefits:

High RF power
Designed for demanding applications, the M7 radio delivers 50 W continuously in AM-voice mode and 100 W continuously in FM-voice and Saturn / Talon modes, even in severe environments and into high antenna VSWR.
Multimode software defined radio
A number of voice and data waveforms are available, anticipating the tactical demands of military users. These include AM / FM voice and wideband data, Link 11 and international maritime.
Modular construction
Allowing field maintenance and upgrade of the equipment. Anticipating future capability needs, a custom interface port also allows the radio to be upgraded with customer-specific modules.
Continuous AM and FM covergae
The M7 Radio can be continuously tuned from 100-400MHz allowing for flexibility of operations.
Integrated Power Supply
The 4U, single package form factor means that more channels can be housed in the available cabinet space. This is particularly important for naval and transportable applications where space may be limited.
Optional EPM
Including NATO HaveQuick, Saturn, and non-NATO Talon waveforms. All waveforms are supported for combined and split site operation.
2 pin controlled security profiles
The M7 radio provides two operator roles to restrict access to radio functions. Role based security means that each user can only access the radio functions that they are cleared to operate.
Intuitive user interface
A high resolution electroluminescent display is supplemented by tactile soft keys and numeric keypad. The HMI menu system is simple and easy to use. USB and EPM key distribution device interfaces supplement the audio headset connector and loudspeaker.
